October 28th - October 31st

All homework, quizzes, tests, projects, and important information will be updated weekly, or daily as needed by your teachers.
  • Students can dress up on Thursday, October 31st for Halloween. In order to dress up, they need to bring $2 to Mrs. Vicki on Thursday.
  • Yearbooks are on sale now! Yearbooks will be $30, and payment should be made out to St. Clare Walker. 
  • Students need to complete all work that they did not finish in class and/or complete assignments on Google Classroom.
  • NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY! Happy Oyster Festival Weekend!!
Ashberry (Civics)
  • Review notecards on a nightly basis. Students should have 1-45 copied down.
  • Political Cartoons must be analyzed and returned on Thursday, October 31.

Ashberry (Language Arts Plus)
  • Work on IXL links. Second set of links are due on October 31.
  • Literary Circles have four due dates. The last due date is October 30. Be prepared for reading quizzes. The final test on the book will be on November 4.
  • SCW Social Buzz articles are due November 5.

Evans (Environmental Science)
Dry Ice Lab on Thursday! Don't forget to bring winter gloves.
Oil Spill Projects are due on Tuesday.
Responses on Google Classroom are due Wednesday.
Check PowerSchool and make sure you've completed all assigned tasks.

Morotini (Language Arts)
  • IXL K.1-K.5, M.1, and M.2 are due Thursday, October 31st.
  • Students received their guidelines and group selections for our Freak the Mighty project. Their final projects will be due and presented on Friday, November 8th
Hooper (Math 8)
  • IXL to practice: J.1, J.10, J.11, K.10 Simple Interest
  • Students are learning about Simple Interest. The formula is I = PRT (Interest = Principal * Rate* Time)
    • Rate has to be in the form of a decimal and time has to be in years in the formula
  • Test will NEXT week - Study Proportions, Percent of Change (N-O)/O, and I=PRT
